Share your story in our ‘Wren Voices’ campaign

We understand the impact of talking openly and honestly about life with autoimmune disease.

Which is why we are launching our ‘Wren Voices’ campaign; an opportunity to share your personal story about life with the complexities of an autoimmune disease diagnosis.

As many of our Wrens - the individuals we support - understand, the journey to diagnosis can be lengthy, unpredictable and complex. Life afterwards can feel changed forever, as you manage symptoms, medications, side effects, hospital appointments and more.

Everyone has their own story to tell. Which is why if you choose to share yours, it can help raise awareness of autoimmune diseases and the challenges many people face.

Volunteering to talk about your real life story can also show others that they are not alone in their experience. Your story might inspire someone else to speak up about their disease to friends or family, or to the Wren Project.

Speaking about the Wren Voices campaign, Kate Middleton, CEO of the Wren Project, said: “At the Wren Project, we see everyday the impact of being heard and validated in your experience with autoimmune disease can have on someone’s life.

”Sharing your personal story can be empowering. We want people living with autoimmune diseases to know they are not alone in their experience.”

The stories you share with us are used on our website and social media channels, in our reports and publicity materials and can be picked up in the wider media.
