Take on a fitness challenge and run, walk, cycle or swim for us. Whether it’s a big name event, or a fitness activity on your terms, we are here to help.

Special occasions

If you are celebrating a wedding, birthday, or another important occasion, raising money for the Wren Project can make a meaningful wedding favour or gift donation.

Whether you host a coffee morning, book group, games evening or something else - it can be a great way to come together and raise vital funds.

FAQs

  • From bake-sales to bingo nights, bike rides to basketball games, whatever you decide we will support you along the way.

If you are stuck for ideas, consider what activities you enjoy doing. Would you prefer to do something on your own or as a part of a team?  Would your friends and family support or sponsor you?  Next, make a plan - how much do you want to raise?  What tasks need to be done? What deadlines do you need to set? Do you need permission from anyone? Then, think about how you might advertise your activity: social media, via email to friends and family - you might even contact your local newspaper.

Need any advice? Get in touch with us here.

  • We know how hard it can be to plan a fundraising event and advertise it to encourage donations. We are here to help. Want some thoughts on how to reach out to friends and family? Need help contacting your local newspaper? Need some information on the impact of the Wren Project and how many people we support? Need a copy of our logo?

  • Your wellbeing and safety is extremely important to us. Please follow all health and safety regulations when organising and holding your event.  We are very grateful that you are fundraising for those most in need but we are unable to accept any responsibility for your event or anyone who participates in it.

We advise all fundraisers to seek advice regarding public liability for any event involving the general public. If you think you might need a licence we ask that you seek clarification from your local council. If your event will collect cash please be aware that the legal minimum age for the public collection of money is 18 in London and 16 elsewhere.

Please do not collect any money door to door on behalf of the Wren Project since this requires a special licence.

For more information on any potential legal requirements/constraints or how to run a raffle and lottery please contact us.  We are here to help.
